A song of comfort in times of sorrow and pain.

Life often brings us sorrow and loss of one kind or another. Sometimes at such times we can feel abandoned by God. Yet Jesus is there with us, Jesus who Himself knew sorrow and was "acquainted with grief". He died and rose again.

This song was written after a young woman from our church lost her baby late in pregnancy. It was the third time this had happened to her and both she and her husband were heartbroken. The song was first sung at the baby's funeral.
