Story Behind The Song
Musically, like most songs I've written, it came ot me in teh car and I sang the tune into my portable table recorder. The lyrics came to me while in the middle of a promo blitz for an album.
Song Description
Very Elton Joh, a la Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. While it could mean many things, I wrote it about not knowing how to proceed with my dreams, my career. That nagging feeling that I should do something else to further my ambitions, but knowing what or how.

Lyrics
Time On My Hands
By Mitch Linker
I am here, holding my breath
And I don?t know where you are
Slowly, drifting to death
?Cause I don?t know where you are
And I don?t know how to get out of this moment, out of this moment
It?s tearing me down
Yeah I don?t know how to get out of this moment, out of this moment
It?s wearing me out tonight
I got this time on my hands, I got time to waste
I know there?s something that I could be doing
I got this time on my hands, I got time to waste
I know there?s something better I should be doing
Nothing is all I can see
And I don?t know where you are
No where is where I will be
While I don?t know where you are
And I don?t know how to get out of this moment, out of this moment
It?s tearing me down
Yeah I don?t know how to get out of this moment, out of this moment
It?s wearing me out tonight
I got this time on my hands, I got time to waste
I know there?s something that I could be doing
I got this time on my hands, I got time to waste
I know there?s something better I should be doing
