Max and Charlie were out riding fences.
Charlie said, ?Max, I just can?t make any sense
out of these games they play with me, out East.

Max taught Sport how to walk on the cattle guard

now Max?s horses are all out on the range for the rest of the year.
But there?s a brand-new saddle and a bridle for Christmas.

in October, 1929. Charlie moved into town
