Story Behind The Song
I wrote this song for my son who was graduating from high school. He had an ocean full of dreams and possibilities. I wanted to say that when the opportunity arises, take it. But, as most songs turn out, it turned into a break up song. My son had just broken up a long term relationship and the two ideas just came together.

The love affair is over. He is going on to whatever.... She watches him leave and wished the best for him, whatever he wants to do, wherever he wants to go. Ultimately she wants him to succed at what he really wants and wants him to give it his utmost.
