This song, in a general pop style, looks at the various stages of romance from the first passions of love, through the boredon stage and on to the other side of some of the crisis that ocurr in long term relationships. This is a sad song because the happy ever after is absent though perhaps expected. It is also insperational because it discusses love enduring all the trials.
