Story Behind The Song

I first began writing "Sloaking" at a friend's house. We used to get together over there to just pray, talk about God and our faith, discuss things in the Bible, and listen to music that glorified Him. While listening to the music we would often just sit and "soak" in the peaceful presence of God. Many of us would end up sleeping during this "soaking" time, which led us to start calling it "sloaking." One day I started messing around on my friend's piano, and out came the very simple basis of this piece. I really believe it was God who gave me the notes for it, which is probably the reason why people feel such a peace and a love coming through the music when they listen to this piece.
