Lyrics

Goodbye
By Julie Karow

Sometimes answering is the hardest thing
When you know the news even before the ringing
You can run and you can shut the door
It doesn't really change a thing

Chorus:

You're not the first to be ripped from me
You're probably not the last
I'm not so sure it doesn't get easier
But I'm already missing you and I
Haven't even said goodbye

I've just seen too many by now
To know that you can't go through this alone
But I don't think my light can shine
Bright enough to guide you home

Repeat chorus

Bridge:
I know a man who loves more than I can
Takes your addictions and gives redemption
You're waiting to die and I don't know why
'Cause we're just waiting for you to live

Repeat chorus
