Song Description

What a fan says about the song: Tell your wife, your goin' on the road! What a terrific group of musicians! I love the fiddle, this player is right up there with the devil that went down to georgia!!! At 3.04 the lead vocalist does a perfect little vocal maneuver that had me in love. He's on key, on beat, and on the money with these refreshing lyrics. The band has an obviously well practiced and close knit sound that makes even a city girl like me wanna don my cowboy boots and go two steppin to that ROCKIN drum beat! TWO THUMBS UP! Lyrics

Well you say that I'm good at conversation
And she says that I never talk at all
Well you say that I'm cool with my expressions
And she says that I mumble and I drawl

Well you say that I'm always neat and tidy
And she says I'm a Virgo in disgrace
Well I wish there was an easy way to get to her
Don?t you know that I?d appreciate some help my friend

You got to tell her that I?m good
Tell her that I?m fair
Tell her that I get along with everyone out there
Tell her I?d appreciate her knowing where it?s at
Tell her, tell her, won?t you tell my wife that
Tell my wife that

Well you say I?m the life of every party
And she says that I?m boisterous and I?m rude
And you say I?m intelligent and funny
And she says that I haven?t got a clue

Well you say I?m adventurous and playful
But she says I?m a child that won?t grow up
Well I?d like to find a way that I could let her know
Well it seems that I could use a little help my friend

You got to tell her that I?m good
Tell her that I?m fair
Tell her that I get along with everyone out there
Tell her I?d appreciate her knowing where it?s at
Tell her, tell her, won?t you tell my wife that
Tell my wife that

Solo

You got to tell her
You got to tell her
You got to tell her that I?m good
You got to tell her that I?m fair

You got to tell her that I?m good
Tell her that I?m fair
Tell her that I get along with everyone out there
Tell her I?d appreciate her knowing where it?s at
Tell her, tell her, won?t you tell my wife that
Tell my wife that
Tell my wife that
Won?t you tell my wife that
