the struggle to survive in a material world

It's basically about the struggle people have when they spend too much money in order to portray a certain image to others. The message is that there is a better and easier way to survive in this world, if we choose to live more simply.

I wrote this song whilst living on the Gold Coast, Australia where image is very important, no matter what the cost.

Trying hard to impress, but it's not for the best
