Story Behind The Song
He's been making toys and visits around the world for centuries but who knew Santa Claus could also make music! Santa recently took a much-needed break from his toy making duties and traveled with Mrs. Claus and Rudolph to Nashville, Tennessee to record "You've Got To Believe." "I've been making toys forever but I secretly always wanted to record an album." Santa is joined on the album by an impressive group of musicians who jumped at the chance to work with the "Man In Red" including: Charlie Morgan (Elton John) on drums; Dennis Burnside (Garth Brooks) on piano; Robbi Calvo (who was awarded "Best guitarist in England") on guitar and James Cook (Sony Recording Artist) on bass. An avid Elvis Presley fan, Santa recruited Elvis' original background singers The Jordanaires and Millie Kirkham to sing on several songs.
"You Got To Believe", which was produced by Caesar Cirigliano (Billy Dean) in Nashville, features Santa singing ten Christmas favorites including the soon-to-be Christmas classic "You Got To Believe in Me" which Santa co-wrote with his elf John Tumminello. "When I travel across the world, I meet so many people who have lost the Christmas spirit" Santa said "We wrote this song to help people rediscover that magical feeling of being young at heart."
Always one to help others and bring the magic of Christmas to the world, Santa is donating a portion of the proceeds to several worthy charities. "Most of us live very blessed and fortunate lives, we should always take time to help our neighbors in need" said Santa.
In addition to visiting malls and chimneys around the world, Santa has appeared on several television programs including "Late Night With David Letterman" and "Good Morning America." He will be making personal appearances this holiday season at ABC Home & Carpet in Manhattan on weekends from Thanksgiving to Christmas. He also will be making several appearances to promote "You've Got To Believe."

Lyrics
I know you're getting older
and think you're pretty smart
but that doesn't mean
you can't find a place within your heart
For the hopes and dreams of childhood
That once got you through
And all the Christmas memories
That meant so much to you
Oh, Oh
You've Got To Believe In Me
You've Got To Believe In Me
Time passes by so quickly
Just blink and you will see
So open up your heart
And believe in me
When you were just a young'n
You sat upon my knee
And told me all the wishes
To place beneath the tree
Now you've lost that twinkle
That sparkled in your eyes
Cause life can be cold and bitter
And dreams slowly subside
Oh, Oh
You've Got To Believe In Me
You've Got To Believe In Me
Time passes by so quickly
Just blink and you will see
So open up your heart
And believe in me
Remember all the joy you had
When you were just a child
Those joys will get you through the storms
And bring back that Christmas smile
Now you?re so much older
In a world of stress
So take time to be thankful
And realize you are blessed
Oh, Oh
You've Got To Believe In Me
You've Got To Believe In Me
Time passes by so quickly
Just blink and you will see
So open up your heart
And believe in me
Time passes by so quickly
Just blink and you will see
So open up your heart
Open up your heart
Open up your heart
Find that childhood spark
And believe in me
