Story Behind The Song
The song was inspired by a 790 plus day project at which I was not able to get home. After about a year the phone calls home becme a war between me and my family. While depressed one day I picked up the Guitar and began writing down things I was feeling, and and things I wanted to change. As abstract is it sounds the song is a expression of the lonleyness that I was feeling. The song is a example of how our feelings can be clouded by lonleyness to the point that they can be real to us and abstract to others
Song Description
This song was mostly a joint inspiration from past people I have known or worked with through the past 30 years. Most of us in the Construction trade live a lonley life torn between money and famly. We all are not understood by most people that have not walked in our shoes. Our work hazards from chemicals to exposure to radiation can not be compaired to the isolation we face every day from the isolation from the things we love the most.

Lyrics
Somebody Please
I set at the crossroads of life and wonder,
Not knowing which way to go
No one said, life would be simple,
I need some help now to carry this load
Always was looking, for quick and easy, no experience
on what I should know, the greatest joy of life missed me
it was there and I let it go.
Would somebody please, explain to me quickly, how the hell
I ever got here, given the chance again to start over,
I know I'd just end up here.
Instrumental break
I sit here in pain, and try not to ponder,
its sure hard to hold back the tears
I loved her so much I started to hate her,
and thats how,I got stuck here
Somebody Please explain to me quickly,
how the hell I ever got here
Given the chance again to start over, I know I'll just end up here
I know I'll just end up here
