Story Behind The Song
a "no worry" lullaby for my son got me to thinking about how much I do worry. I used to sing this to him and be hearing reports on the radio about Sept. 11 and thinking that there was no way out of this mess. But then I'd see him smiling back up at me, enjoying the simple song and it would give me faith, faith in music, faith in family...pretty cheesy now that I'm writing it out...especially in a window on a website...wow!
Song Description
A goofy little song I used to sing my son to sleep that turned into this heavy statement about the world all wrapped up in a warm, old school soul blanket

Lyrics
"No Worries"
©2002 Zachary Ross
see the bombs falling down on the TV screen
don?t know if I?ll ever find out just what it means
but I know my only gift to give is here and it?s all I can do
hope that we can get back to what?s here between me and you
when I see the smiles on your shining faces
something tells me we all gonna be fine
CHORUS
we ain?t got no worries child
no worries child
no worries, no worries
we ain?t got no worries child
no worries child
no worries, no worries
I watch the stars spark the sky and I wonder who?s looking down
there don?t seem to be any angels, only devils hanging around
I close my eyes and try to find the courage to move in the dark
I know that I?ll find my way because music?s never too far
