Here's a very refreshing and fun song to listen to. It's a love song, but it definitely steps outside the "common lyrical box" by offering fresh word pictures...my favorite: running on the hot beach sand. The value of true and faithful love is lifted up in the context of the Valentine's day theme, chocolate, roses and all. (where's the plush stuffed toy, ha ha?). I thought the roses red, violets blue was a clever touch. You can't go wrong with incorporating a commonly used phrase in a fresh new way. Fantastic guitar playing. The vocal is absolutely perfect. You have a great voice, one that I would listen to again and again. Bravo on a fun Valentine's love song...just in time for February 14!

Very touching and sentimental piece with good structure and vocals. Instrumentation is ideal for this piece, as it is kept simple, which helps put more emphasis on the lyrics, which are important.
Man, oh. man, you can sing ! Love your voice for new country style! What clear tone and passion! You can really tell that you're singing about someone you love very much! I could really see the things you described and feelings you expressed.
I just wanted to hear a little more about these people in the verse... a little more of their story leading up to that cool chorus you wrote. :-)

Great vocal performance and commercial sounding voice.
Very catchy, cool track which is really hard to define in terms of genre. I hear a little more modern country meets 1990's MTV Unplugged than "Easy Listening Pop" but maybe that is what is cool about this song. This song has huge potential crossing over into all kinds of different music markets. The singer has a good voice and does a really nice job performing with only an acoustic guitar.
Reminiscent of Bob Dylan's genre. A nice song for new love.

Really like the line "It's just my lucky day!". It is always nice to listen to a good, happy love song expressing how much someone loves someone. I like the guitar and the pitch of the vocalist is very good. Also like the quick ending.
