Story Behind The Song
The lyrics and chords were written with an acoustic guitar, and then I took over Daniel's house and he liked it. So we played it for Trent and he liked it too. And so it became a song, and one that we perform. The end.
Song Description
This track is one of the more guitar-driven rock pieces on our album. We like to add harmonies and fill out the sound. Daniel Parker played drums and sang backup harmonies. Trent Hinchman played bass, and Dennis Hitchcox sang and played guitar.

Lyrics
Somehow, that's the way it goes
I could never get it right
Something in the air that night
Whatever way the wind blows
Consequences fall on you
And promises that don't come true
When you go it alone
Tell me anything you want
What it it, when it does what it does
Show me all the ghosts that haunt you
Because it is what it was.
You heart always on the mend
Someone's gonna break it soon
Only to a different tune
You know I cannot pretend
Circumstances seem so right
Won't you come and see tonight before you go it alone.
Tell me anything you want
What it it, when it does what it does
Show me all the ghosts that haunt you
Because it is what it was.
