Boy when this thing started I wanted to not like it....but by the end I was tapping along with the beat. Vocalist was so cool....I'd swear it was Hoyt Axton, may he rest in peace. Fun stuff....like the first song of the night at a country bar....somehow reminds me of how Peggy Lee used "I Love Being Here With You" oh do dah day!
The song has several elements that make it engaging and ideal for a fun, uplifting setting. The piece aims to create a carefree atmosphere where everyone can enjoy the fun. Its repetitive and catchy chorus can make it easy to remember, and the various calls to physical action (clapping, stomping, etc.) can involve the audience in the performance.
Love the song.....
It rocks!!!
Nice uptempo song for club play or radio.
Stomp your feet, good time feel. No lyrics, really. Just "have a good time" "just here to help you unwind" lyric throughout and it works. This song is just plain fun.
The lead vocal has a nice tone to his voice-- not too raspy-- just right. The instrumentation is done well by what sounds like a couple of good ol' boys. I like it! The repetitive melody is a quick learn for audience participation which is what you like to see on feel good songs.
You all sound like you're having a good time! Nice guitar, both of them!
This song had a great feel too it from the very first musical note It has a great "Old Country" feel too it, which was refreshing to listen to. The vocals and instrumentation were both well done and brought the song to life. The lyrics told a story, which is what Country music is all about. I really enjoyed listening to it. Nicely done.
