Dodgin' God & The Devil - Lyric Ques
*******************
00:43
Stone me!
What a life!
Neon blur and a fast night, Where are you now Libertine?
00:57
Stone me!
What a life!
Strobe flash faces and a flicker fire,
Where are you now Libertine?
1:08
Tryin' to be God by being the Devil.
It's all but the same
Just another level!
1:20
Tryin' to be God by being the Devil.
It's just another game
Testing my mettle!
1:32
Own me.
What's the price?
Cherry rock candy
And a silver wire,
You got me now Libertine.
1:43
Throw me on the ice. Pick up the pieces and bury me nice. You got me now Libertine.
1:55
Tryin' to be God by being the Devil.
It's all but the same - just another level.
2:05
Tryin' to be God by being the Devil.
It's just another game, testing my mettle!
2:16
(Bridge)
And I feel the same way,
And I don't want to change it away.
And I feel it all today,
And I don't want to change it away.
2:39
Bridge 2
(Here we go now...)
3:14
Tryin' to be God by being the Devil.
It's just another game
Just another level!
3:25
Tryin' to be God by being the Devil. It's just another game,
Testing my mettle!
3:34
(Yeah -yeah yeah yeah)

Fascinating piece. The bridge grabs me the most with incredible riff and chord changes. Great instrumentation throughout. At the beginning, it sounds like Roger Daltrey comin' right at you.

Great intro with all instruments blazing! Super pro production. Love the melody! Percussion holds the timing, beat and the heart of this beauty. Well done!
