This song is about a thug who talks about running from cops, how he sold drugs , stole cars, played dominoes, did whatever he could to survive in the hood, but now he has changed, realizing that he has talent that he blessed with and how he is on a journey to get fortune and fame but and if and when he makes it that he will never forget where he came from. It talks about how he was on welfare and how he loves his mom because she struggled to take care of them but she did and now he is trying to take care of her. This song is a real dee song, it makes yo think and it really catches alot of peoples attention, because so many of them can relate to this and this song is a grammy potential song to me.
