There is so much to like about this song! I love the guitar in the beginning and throughout, the singer's voice is perfect for the song, the arrangement and music excellent, a great idea, imagery, title, and hook. Keith Urban should sing it. I wish all involved the best of luck with this song; in my opinion, you're on your way!

    - Pete Papageorge

Nice soft sound here--a lttle country flavor --good background vocals

REWIND
© 2017 Lyrics & Music by Simon Finn

Verse 1
Looking back I'd call them my golden days
Back then we called it summer of '88
I had the world at my feet
Gel in my hair and rips in my jeans
Couldn't wait to spread my wings
Get wasted and shed my skin
Both eyes on the open road
Mixtape on the stereo

Chorus
Rewind that old C90
To that night you spent beside me
First date, hot kisses, no sleep
Analogue lives and electric dreams
Relive the love we made
While the mixtape played
The songs I left behind
Rewind Rewind Rewind

Verse 2
Never dreamed my journey would take me far
Leaving you with a kid and a question mark
Now I'm heading back home
Grey in my hair and a kid of my own
I don't believe in no regrets
Doesn't mean that I wanna forget
That summer night we spent alone
Mixtape on the stereo

Chorus
Rewind that old C90
To that night you spent beside me
First date, hot kisses, no sleep
Analogue lives and electric dreams
Relive the love we made
While the mixtape played
The songs I left behind
Rewind Rewind Rewind

Bridge
Want to know what we've been missing?
All we have to do is listen again

Chorus
Rewind that old C90
To that night you spent beside me
First date, hot kisses, no sleep
Analogue lives and electric dreams
Relive the love we made
While the mixtape played
The songs I left behind
Rewind Rewind Rewind
All the songs I left behind
