I really liked this song! The vocals and music arrangement where very good! This song was easy to listen to and has radio quality.

Definitely a country song. Gets to the grit of the song quickly, which is great. Some nice chord progressions. Use of the California Hills imagery is great. Love the lead solo bridge.
The song has lots of balls (am I allowed to say that?) with powerful Bob Seeger style vocals and plenty of country rock slide guitar going on. On first hearing, some of the chord progression comes as a surprise, but in a good way which become very natural after a couple of listens.
Has a feel of a live performance about the recording with some rough edges which can be forgiven for the trade off in atmosphere. Some fine guitar playing.

Good lyrics
Excellent vocal (definite country/surfer kind of vibe). Starts out sounding like its going to be country. But, then you break into your belt and it goes a different (good) place. Arrangement sounded tight. Vocal was strong and clear with a touch of soul. Great job!

The singer has a very fine a distinct style with a strong delivery. Love the lyrics as this reminds me of an Allman Brother's composition. The lead guitar is simply outstanding; very fine Folk/Rock arrangement.
