Based on the life of a woman holding on to someone who in the eyes of others is seen as completely crazy for being with the man she's with, but to her he is the one and only one whom she lives and breathes for, even though deep down inside she knows she is in denial, she knows her ending will be a sacrificial one, but the love she has for him is greater than any truth.

Song Description

Hadassa Candiani- This is the life of my mother. The relationship between my mother and father has always been a joyful and twisted one. My mother met my father when they were teenagers, he has been her one and only love even though through their relationship he has been unfaithful they even divorced twice and re married. Whenever they were apart, she felt like an empty vessel, with no purpose , time stood still and no longer existed, feelings were repressed even senses diminished without him. As a child, I saw the torture he would put her though, yet in the moment he would walk through that door, it's like she came to life, like he was her trigger and still to the day he still is. When I was young, I would think, why can't she just move on? What's wrong with her? But, as I've come to meet my husband and know and feel what love is, I can see that true love, under the hands of someone who's glass is not filled by the water of your love, can become the greatest threat to a loving heart. I now have someone in my life that knows how to nurture my insecurities and has helped me become whole, learn to give myself without feeling that I need a parachute. I feel in a way I am the first verse, and my mother is the second verse of the song. I know what it is to feel that kind of jump off the cliff love and know there is someone there to catch me, but I have seen and lived through the insane love, the one that can break you.
