Lyrics
Driving home from work today, I picked up my kids
Something wavin' caught my eye
Red, white and blue; my innocence bid adieu
Trying so hard not to cry
And then she said, "What are all these flags for? Is this a holiday?"
I said, "No, the reason these flags blow is to show a deeper love inside, It's to show our American Pride."
You know it's funny how the acts of a few
Can bring out the best in us
Blood, sweat and tears; comforting my children's fears
Trying to rebuild my trust
"What are all these flags for? Is this a holiday?"
I said, "No, the reason these flags blow is to show deeper love inside. It's to show our American Pride."
