Song Description
One of the most natural things we are capable of is love. When we get a little older and more experienced, sometimes we forget how natural and easy it is to love. With so many marriages ending in divorce, or couples breaking up, the children are the ones who suffer the most, especially if one or both parents do not show any compassion or love to their ex. This song is a gentle, simple reminder that we are to love one another, especially for the sake and sanity of our children. I did not write this song to be loved by everyone. If you don't have children, this may not have any meaning to you. The Greatest Gift is a song to help open a door into the heart of a parent who has stopped loving. I kept the lyrics and melody easy to understand, especially those people who are a little older. I hope it touches your heart, as it did mine.
