Sazibone (saz-ay-bo-nay) is a collaboration of musicians who performed together in the late 60s - early 70s and recorded a body of work including roughly 40-50 demo tracks. While none of these were ever released commercially, we have come together again for the purpose of re-recording the material and (hopefully) refreshing the musical content and production quality of these songs. Stylistically the music reflects the influence of Neil Young and CSNY, Pete Townsend, and Beggars Banquet and earlier Stones, Muddy Waters, Howlin Wolf, Bo Diddley, etc. Lyrically, the material is still amazingly relevant today and we'd like to see it reach a new audience - yet with a bit of historical context.
