I am a singer/songwriter with over 200 songs in varying styles. my tastes in music are pretty far and wide and this reflects in my writing as i am as much at home with writing reggae and soul material as i am with country, folk or heavy rock! my influences as a writer are as diverse as my tastes. people like hank williams, leonard cohen, neil young, don mclean, bob dylan and townes van zandt figure prominently. but also jimi hendrix, black sabbath , marc bolan, smokey robinson, bob marley and david bowie!

ive worked for many years as both a solo artist and in a band situation. i am still very interested in pursuing a career as a performer in my own right. for performing i use the name JOHN MARCUS.i also front a heavy rock act EGO PRIME
