Roger is a multi instrumentalist and he also plays multiple styles of music. He plays finger style acoustic guitar, piano, bass, percussion, hand drums (and a trap set), electric guitar, and violin. In addition to playing ALL of the instruments on most of his recordings, he also does lead and backing vocals. Regarding live performance, Roger plays Solo Acoustic Guitar & Vocals, Solo Piano & Vocals, Piano in an instrumental Jazz Duet, and Keyboards, Bass & Lead Vocals in a Rock Band. Says Roger of his multiple talents, "I never really set out to sing and/or play so many different instruments, but even though every band I've ever been in always had a great lead guitarist, there was always a need for a lead singer, bass player, keyboard player, rhythm guitarist, and/or percussionist. I learned how to fill all of these other rolls by necessity. I truly love playing each and every instrument I play."
