Hey Paul - thanks for your review of my song "So Elusive". I would love to know HOW to do the things you commented on...just learning the guitar and the recording thing after 35 years as a bassist. Any guidance you could give would be greatly appreciated.
Hey, the trick is to listen to songs that you like and if try to emulate their mix...let's say you have 2 guitars and you hear on on the left side like around 10 o'clock positiion and the other is all the way to the right...then the drums have audience perspective or drummer perspective...it really is easy, just takes a little time to find what works for you but as I say, just emulate you favorite artist and at the end you'll come up with your own ways...
