For Chilliwack British Columbia's 17 year old rising star Kate, winning a spot in the Metropolis Glee Club, being mentored by Canadian Icon Jann Arden for Jann's CBC radio show Being Jann, becoming a finalist in the Valley Voices 2011 singing competition, and performing live on ET Canada at the PNE with the Metropolis Glee Club brings her one step closer to realizing her dreams.

Kate's vocal power, and range allow her to sing any genre, but she says that her style is definitely R&B. Kate's musical influences are Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, Beyonce, Shontelle, and more recently Adele.
