Phillip Solomon Stewart who is nicknamed King began to demonstrate his love for music when he learned to play the saxophone at age eleven and later self-taught himself to play other instruments including the oboe, which led to his music scholarship to college. He graduated from Miami Norland Senior High School and matriculated to Florida A&M University where he continued to be an active student serving as Mr. College of Education, a FAMU STRIKER, and Assistant Head Drum Major of the world famous FAMU Marching 100 Band. Phillip graduated from FAMU with a Bachelor and a Master degree. He is an educator; however, KINGP ENTERTAINMENT is his company, which he serves as a music producer, song writer, recording artist and the leader of the PALACE BAND. He is a man of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. a family man with two sons; Phillip Solomon Stewart says, "Live the life you love. Love the life you live." - Bob Marley

Bio of PHILLIP SOLOMON STEWART

With family roots from St. Ann and Kingston Jamaica, Phillip Solomon Stewart, nicknamed King, was born in Miami, Florida on October 2. At age three, Phillip lived in Lime Hall of St. Ann Jamaica, where he first fell in love with MUSIC. Phillip continued his musical appreciation, listening to all genres of music while growing up in Miami, Florida. He learned to play the Saxophone at age eleven and later self-taught himself to play other instruments including the Oboe, which was his music scholarship instrument to his college education. While in high school, among several school organizations, Phillip was very active in the band playing the alto and tenor saxophones, the oboe, and serving as Drum Major. Phillip graduated from Miami Norland Senior High School in June 2001 and matriculated to Florida A&M University where he continued to be an active prideful student participating in several organizations. To highlight a few, he served as Mr. College of Education during the 2004-2006 school years and he also was an active member of the FAMU STRIKERS Dance Troupe during the 2001-2005 school years. Only wanting to be part of the best, in August 2001, he became a member of the world famous Marching 100, serving in the saxophone section, then became Drum Major during the 2002-2005 school years and Assistant Head Drum Major during the 2005-2007 school years. Phillip Solomon Stewart graduated from FAMU with a Bachelor of Science - Elementary Education degree in December 2005 and a Master of Education - Educational Leadership Degree in August 2007. Phillip has three years of teaching experience; however, since then, he has been maintaining KINGP ENTERTAINMENT making music as a Saxophonist, Music Producer, Artist and Songwriter.
As a Music Producer and Artist, he is KINGP; however, as the Saxophonist, he is PHILLIP SOLOMON STEWART.
