About Lefty:

Hailing from the Gulf Coast, Lefty was born in a small town in Mississipi. He as travelled & lived in most of the southern states in cluding Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, & Texas but currently resides in Chicago. Lefty is a real MC & knows how to move a crowd. He writes his own lyrics & produces most of his own tracks. He has worked with & produced tracks for many underground artists & is currently working on "The -cLEFTzoFRENiYA- MIXTAPE" & his album which is "TBA".

LEFTY:

"I've been rapping for as long as I can remember. I stopped writing my rhymes about 5 or 6 years ago to focus on music production. I'm self taught. I learned a little about the MPC & then I picked up a Roland Synth. I got heavy into hardware because that's all I had access to. I mastered "Stand alone" hard drive recording(BR1180/AW16) & Sequencing. My sampling skills sucked but i kept at it. I got my hands on some primitive software called N Track & from there I copped Cake Walk 9 from my homie Digeab. I crawled untill I walked with Cake Walk 9 & they hit us with Sonar. I dib & dab with all D.A.W.s from Pro Tools to Cubase to file editing in Sony Soundforge mixed in with a little Wavelab(LMAO). I developed a love for sampling from my homie Dean & I have a CRAZY vinyl collection. I've produced a handful of records for other artists, but no hits yet. I'm a closet nerd that loves to read about new gear, & world events, & B.S. I'd rather work on music than party & if I'm not doing any of the above, you'll probably catch me on Facebook promoting my freshly rejuvenated rap career. Holla @me."
