We've had a lot of experience recording a lot of styles. Currently we are going for a lot of lush rock sounds somewhat akin to The Flaming Lips (Soft Bulletin) or Jimmy Eat World (Clarity). We record all live drums and percussion - no loops. We've also recorded a lot of very raw, emotional and up-front acoustic recordings, funk, heavier bands all the way up to black and death metal and a few bands with horns here and there (ska and otherwise). Influences are: Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Radiohead, Josh Rouse, Jimmy Eat World, Meshuggah, Pat Metheny, Tori Amos, Tool, Rhett Miller, The Flaming Lips, Patty Griffin, Modest Mouse, Kelly Joe Phelps, Samuel Barber and many more. Some of our Production influences include: John Brion (Ryan Adams, Rhett Miller), John Fields (Glen Phillips, Switchfoot), Steve Albini (Nirvana - In Utero, The New Year) The Churchills (The Churchills).
