A little about me

I was born and raised in Sweden. In 1983 my family decided to relocate to Greece. My father (composer) Harris Chalkitis played a large role in my career. I can easily say that he has been my mentor.
It all started when I was 16. I recorded my first maxi single entitled "Victoria-Jump To The Beat", released in France by label Carrere-Atoll Music, and was asked to leave Greece to start a career in France but due to my young age, and the fact that my family was unable to follow I remained in Greece.
I immediately started doing backup vocals on albums for many successful artists in Greece.
In 1993 I participated the Eurovision song contest supporting the successful singer Keti Garbi in Ireland. An unforgettable experience, and honor. In 1994, I participated once more in the Eurovision song contest supporting Kostas Bigalis. That same year I recorded a duet with Kostas Bigalis on his number one selling LP. In October 1994, I released my first Greek solo Album entitled «Love is...», with my father's compositions and production. The Greek audience immediately embraced my album with enthusiasm and within the first weeks it climbed the Greek top 10.
I continued my solo career and recorded more albums: in 1997 the album titled «Victoria 2», in 1999 the album titled «It is time», and in 2000 with a cd single titled «One to remember».
In 2000, having left my record company "Warner Music Greece", I began my collaboration with 'Anna Vissi' (She is one of the most successful artists in Greece), supporting her tour in Australia and America. During that time I recorded a new cd single "You Never Cared About Me" music by my father that was released in France by Sony, Columbia international. At the same time vocal arrangements and writing lyrics for 'Antique', 'Da Buzz', 'Emma Andersson' and other known artists abroad.
One of my solo recordings with the title «Power Of Dreams» was included in the well-known computer game «Pump It Up». «Pump It Up» was released on playstation & Xbox platforms around the world, from America to Japan.
During these years I have also participated in a lot of commercial ads for TV and Radio.
2004 was an exciting year for me since I had the opportunity to collaborate with Phoebus (One of the most successful composers and producers in Greece).Backup vocals to a song called «Come Along Now» which was the official song of Coca Cola, supporting the entire campaign for the 2004 Olympic Games which took place in Greece. The following year, 2005, Phoebus composed the song, «TELEIA» in which I co-wrote the lyrics and was chosen as the solo artist.«TELEIA» was the official song of Coca Cola for its new campaign «Sound wave». It quickly became a great success winning the Greek top charts.
In that same year and again in association with Phoebus, I recorded the song
«F... ing Magic», which was and still is, the campaign song of the department stores «Attica».
In the summer of 2006 Phoebus composed «Summer in Greece» a duet with George Mazonakis which also was a CD Single.
The song became a big hit.
In 2008 I participated once more in the Eurovision song contest as a backup singer and vocal coach for "Kalomira" a singer who won the Greek fame story competition 2005.
A lot of backing vocals followed that same year with different artists such as 'Schiller' Germany, 'Annie Lorack' Russia.
Having collaborating with a lot of artists, producers, musicians in many different countries for many years I can say that I have gained a lot of experience, recognition and I consider myself very lucky to have been a part of so many successful projects. My passion for music is a never ending love story...
Today, I continue to participate in various projects doing backing vocals, vocal arrangements, writing music and lyrics, coaching a lot of artists, lending my voice in various roles for animated Disney films and participating in many promotional TV and Radio spots.
