"where does the music come from? the heart, the mind, the soul...all three I think yet more....a stirring...a force." These words are a portion of a poem a friend of mine wrote....to which I was in turn, inspired to write a song. I have been fortunate enough to know, love , learn and study the piano. Along the way I found myself composing. I am greatful, to this day that my mother was a passionate person and learner. This enabled her to recognize my connection with music. So what could somebody of my background and experience possibly have to share with the world? I believe that is something that comes from a stirring...a force. I have a theory that there are two types of people in the world...those that play the piano and those that wish they could. So here I am. After more than 50 years of playing people will tell me they think I'm good. My response is that they would be good too if they pursued playing the piano for as many years as I have.
