Slang is by far the best live act in their country (Bulgaria), and when you throw in the ability to perform English songs brilliantly, They become the must see band from their native land. They started in 1997 with a concept and one great song, that changed through the years to the present band. It remains arguable who is best at what, but as a combination, they are sensational. The Cd "Blue" was released at the end of 2000, and in Bulgaria, the first release climbed to the top of the Bg Charts in a matter of weeks. By 05/2001, they had 2 songs in the top 5, being the first band to own this accomplishment. At the Forte awards in Sophia, 05/2001 they Took "Best Rock Band Honors". But as awards and accomplishments continue to increase at home, the true nature of their Music and sound has been created for the west.
