Finalist & Semi-Finalist of the 2008 UK Song writing Contest. Finalist "Crazy When He's Not Calling" is one of 11 great tracks from a Jazzy/Latin catalogue called 'Cosmic Force'. Sung by his lovely young niece Rachel Austin who was only 16 when she recorded the song, and is now just 18. A further catalogue of 11 country/blues/folky songs have now been recorded, before he embarks upon writing a third catalogue of country / jazz songs some time end 2008 / spring 2009. David was also awarded a 'Semi-Finalist' position within the 2008 UK & USA Songwriting Contest for the same song - 'Luck is Just Around the Corner'.
