The word "Gothic" means different things to differnt people. The beauty of it is that it defies definition and belongs to a culture of people who traverse the periphery of mainstream society. They come from all walks of life with different philosophic perspectives as well as religious backgrounds . Goths tend to be eccentric, artistic and -o- soooooo beautiful !!!
When i put together my project, "Crucible" i was consciously unaware of why and how i fit in as a Goth, yet I AM IT. ...and what that "IT" is will always mean something different to me than what others might perceive.
The title, "Crucible" ....is ever soooooo suitable. It is defined..."a severe trial." The second definition..."a container used for heating substances to high temperatures." Both very telling.
