Dubbed the "Urban Cowgirl" - J.D. is a Long Island, New York girl who likes to rock out southern style. Her sound is where rock meets country. Often described as Roseanne Cash meets Melissa Etheridge.
2005 - J.D. works with Nashville producer Keith Ridenour and releases her second CD titled Maybe It's Just Me.
2007 - J.D. made her debut appearance at the legendary Blue Bird Cafe in Nashville, TN where she has now become a regular.
2008 - J.D. co-writes with producer Keith Ridenour for her latest release titled, "Hard Road To Heaven".
The songs from this CD are chosen by Jeffrey Poitier, nephew of legendary actor Sydney Poitier for his film titled, "VOICES".
"Thanks To The Brave" was adopted by Fort Hood Army base to be used in a variety of programs replacing Toby Keith's "American Soldier".
2009 - "Thanks To The Brave" is chosen by the NFL Indianapolis Colts cheerleaders for their April 2009 tour to perform for our troops.
