I left school at 15 during my first and only year at college.
A railway shunting accident laid me up with a head injury in 1971 so I taught myself the basics on guitar and started writing songs..
During the last 25 years or so I have written some 50 songs, written a full length play titled: By The Short and Curlies, which was runner up in the 1986 Minolta Awards here in New Zealand, written a fictional drama novel manuscript of some 180,000 words titled: A Pit Of Embers, and also the adapted version as a screenplay.
Both, the novel and the screenplay are registered with the New Zealand Writers' Guild, and I am presently seeking (world wide) a publisher for the novel and a producer for the screenplay.
My next biggest goal is to see my novel on the shelves of book shops and the screenplay up on the big screen in movie houses all around the world.
