Jay Pounders
I was born in Birmingham, Alabama and raised in and around Memphis, Tennessee. After spending a year living with my sister and sailor brother-in-law in Spain when I was 11 years old, my mother and I followed my sister and her family to South Florida when I was about high school age.

I was the singer/songwriter for Geffen-recording artists, Crossfire Choir and spent several years playing in the Northeast and touring/recording,etc. I now live in Long Beach, California.

I continue to write, record and perform primarily as an acoustic singer/songwriter in Southern California.
