Hailing from Washington DC, Atomic Boy, aka Eddie Simmens, has been producing instrumental hip hop and downtempo electronic music for the past 4 years. Beginning as a hobbyist with Apple's Garageband program, he has slowly, but surely, worked his way up to professional quality with Logic Pro and an array of studio equipment. Utilizing a combination of sampling and playing the keys, Eddie constructs chill soundscapes that will be sure to leave an impact on the listener. At the moment he is busy at work with several projects. Recently Eddie founded the music production company Boy Atom Productions LLC, which he will use to license music for film, tv, and other commercial mediums. His past production credits include work for MTV's show "Meet the Barkers." In addition to music licensing, Eddie is also constantly involved in collaboration with other young musicians. One project in particular, Solar Mystique, features the vocals of talented singer Linda Courtien.
