Rob Magee is a Philadelphia, PA based multi-instrumentalist/song writer/audio engineer and producer. After spending five years studying music while living in the mountains of Nepal, Rob recently returned to the states after suffering an (near fatal) injury to his leg while fighting to stop deforestation in the region. Rob sings, plays, performs, produces and engineers all of his music himself. His background comes mostly from traditional bues-based rock guitar but over the years has expanded to include many genres and instruments. Rob is featured on these recordings playing dobro, pedal steel, mandolin, guitar, piano, percussion and lead/harmony vocals. His musical influences come from a variety of genres- resulting in a unique sound of his own. Rob is currently in Mysore india for the summer studying ashtanga yoga, and of course, sitar.
