„Pirate Radio Station“ is a 4-piece rockband coming from Germany/Austria, founded in the summer of 2004! The aim was to form a band that comes up with good melodies, that stays for a long time, like some of our favourite bands: The Rolling Stones, The Who, Oasis, Jet …
Melody is the most important thing in our music, we have straight rocktunes and even gentle ballads! The Band has got two singers and songwriters what makes our music very colourful! The songs we wrote would be enough for a couple of albums!
We don´t care for Castingbands, Popstars…, with us is still selfwritten, selfarranged, selfproduced and of course Live played! Till present we have got many positive criticism, even from Britain and the USA what proves that our music is able to get Internationally!
During the last 3 years the Band has reached a lot (see full biography) and we are certain to reach more someday – we love music and we live for our music – it´s only Rock´n Roll, but we like it! Cheers

"Pirate Radio Station" is:

Pirate Radio Station (short "PRS") was born in the summer of 2004. Melody is the most important thing in our music, you won´t find a song of us without a good tune! We´re also a very good live-band, we give all on stage how you can see it in our new Video!
Influences are bands like - The Rolling Stones, The Who, Oasis, Jet, the Verve, Kula Shaker, BRMC...
In the summer of 2005 the band was in the studio to produce 10 new Songs. In November 2005 the band got into the final of the "Oe3-Soundcheck" (a project from EMI-Austria and the biggest Austrian Radiostation Oe3), out of 600 Bands, sought by Austrians highest music and A&R-people. Finally we played a gig in Vienna which was filmed by Austrian Television ORF and Oe3 played our song "Lazy Day" on air!
In 2006 we got our own Homepage and made a deal with the Berlin based promotion-company "Future Clash Media". Actionly we made a Music-Video for our song "I´m going away" (video can be watched at our Homepage) and big radiostations (like Oe3, Welle1 and Radio Rheinwelle) are playing our songs.
We´d love to go to Britain or in the States to promote our music there!
So many people come and say: "You have great songs guys", unfortunately the record labels in Germany do not realize! We´re not somebodys popband that stays for one or two years, we´re like a classic rockband that stays as long as possible! We have our own songs, our own style and the will for tour, tour, tour.
At the moment we´re looking for a record label. We hope that luck is on our side, keep the music alive!
