I play 2 guitars at the same time. One is strung left handed and the other is strung right handed. I use the hammer-on type technique. One guitar sits upright on a stand and the other is on my lap. The one on my lap is the lefty. It is played by my right hand "overhand" like a piano. The other is played by my left hand in the conventional position. I have no real explanation for how and why I play this way except that I feel more comfortable playing in this fashion. I can play both left and right hand guitars separately in the normal fashion. Perhaps it's due to my mixed heritage of Black, Indian, and White. Who knows? I'm sure there's a lot of you who can relate!
