The Fab Lushes are on to something good with a tight, upbeat, roots-rock sound.Internationally road tested (7 Europe Tours) and proven, their songs end up on TV, Radio and in Movies. Members of the band have played with: BB King, Taj Mahal, Ray Charles, George Thorogood, Keb Mo, John Hammond Jr., Robert Cray and performed on The Late Show with David Letterman.
They brilliantly pay homage to an eclectic mix of styles, but always stay true to American blues roots.
The rockin' grooves build solidly, and so does the party.

Super-charged, funked-up music

When Chris Kelly was 18 years old, he drove from New Jersey to the New Orleans Jazz Fest. Over the following weekend, he would hear his calling: Start a band that fuses the festive sounds of New Orleans with the guitar driven, blues rock he grew up on. The result is a unique mix of jamming guitar and funky horns.
San Diego's Brian Buckit has been shakin' rump-sides and bobbin' noggins everywhere. Their music has been described as "super-charged, funked-up, mardis gras, booty-shakin music". Their blend of horns and guitar encourages both boogiers and partiers to get serious about their business. This is fun Rock 'n' Roll through and through. Brain Buckit songs are being played on the radio and in podcasts around the world and have been placed in several award winning films. They have contributed music to many compilation discs, placing their songs on over 300,000 CDs in circulation. Beyond San Diego, they tour many states regularly where their incredible live shows continue to attract more fans.
