Tracy Newman is a television writer and producer. In 1997, she won the Emmy for co-writing the "coming out" episode of Ellen. In 2001, she co-created the ABC comedy, According to Jim, starring Jim Belushi, which just finished it's 8th and final season of production. She's also been a singer/songwriter throughout her TV career. Her first CD, A Place in the Sun was released in 2007. She's now working on her second CD and it should be out before the end of 2009.
