Amy Elizabeth Wheeler is a dynamic performer and a versatile vocalist. Her career began as a singer/songwriter performing club dates in New York followed by the movie "Fame" and a European tour of the Broadway rock-musical "Hair". Her opera debut with the Warsaw Chamber Opera in Poland was greeted with a standing ovation and an extensive touring schedule throughout Europe. She later teamed up with lutenist Jaroslaw Lipski recording a critically acclaimed CD titled "What Thing is Love" as well as performing sold-out concerts at international music festivals. She has recorded songs by Knopfler and Berlin with archguitarist Peter Blanchette which led to a series of cross-genre concerts in Scandinavia and collaboration on a world music project called "The Martinson Project" with members of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra in Sweden.
