Kim Hansen is a musician, arranger, producer, composer and studio engineer, with extensive professional experience in all those fields.
Coming to Los Angeles in 1997 Kim began working as MD for platinum record/grammy nominated artist Maxine Nightingale, and working extensively with close friend and mentor Ricky Lawson.
He toured with Bebe Winans and recorded grammy nominated live CD/DVD- 'Up Close and Personal'.
Kim toured/recorded with Ricky Lawson, Patti Austin, Howard Hewitt,
Earl Klugh, The Winans, Bebe & Cece, Peabo Bryson, Bobby Lyle, Oleta Adams, Michael Lington and many others.
Co-wrote 'Goodbye' for Kci & Jojo's cd 'Emotional'
Arranged strings for Jesse Powell's Xmas cd,
wrote 'Martini Beach' for Bamboo Forest cd 'Passion in Paradise',
remixed 2 tracks for R&B artist Carl B. Henry.
He has worked as a session musician along people like George Duke, Marcus Miller, Peter Erskine, Mike Miller, Gary Novak, Jimmy Haslip and many more.
