Mick is a multi-disciplinary artist currently focused on writing new material for his album "Simple day"
Mick was born in Los Angeles & raised in Golden Valley, Tasmania. Interests in music early in life lead Mick to learn the guitar, start a band & eventually learn to write songs. Also in his teens Mick discovered dance, later leading him to study for his Bachelor of Dance at the Victorian College of the Arts, which included scholarship studies at the London Contemporary, UK.
Throughout Micks' dance performance & choreographic career music has played an important role & in 2002 Mick began recording & mixing his own audio projects for dance/theatre work. In 2003 Mick began working with Pro Tools & Final Cut Pro & in 2004 he created a series of short contemporary dance/music videos. In 2005 Mick conducted choreographic research, touring Europe, U.K & USA.
Returning to Australia, Mick aims to infuse true character into his songs. as he writes his new album 'Simple day'
