Long, bitterly cold New England winters are the BEST!
According to Massachusetts singer/songwriter Alice Fraleigh, anyway. Alice finds that sitting on a chairlift going up a mountain, and the hot showers that follow a day on the slopes, can be very fruitful if youre a songwriter; both provide lots of time to think, and plan, and WRITE. And, hey, Im not that good a skier, so lets not forget the time it takes to get DOWN the mountain, either!
Singing since childhood and picking up the guitar later on, Alice has developed her unique style by performing with several bands, performing locally at coffeehouses and singer/songwriter showcases. With just a few short years behind her since cutting her songwriting teeth, she has already received national acclaim, including radio play, for her efforts. Her songs draw from life experiences, love, and faith, all filtered through a quirky perspective.
