Hattie Wilcox is an artist/songwriter/ composer (BMI) born in Raleigh NC, raised on Chopin and Debussy, hillbilly and soul. Developing her "Jones" vocal sound inspired by Rickie Lee Jones, Norah Jones and Diana Jones, Hattie loves the blues, honky-tonk, boogie and traditional country a la Lyle Lovett. Resisting all advice to focus on one genre, Hattie keeps on keeping on with her goal of more material in film, advertising and TV. "Whiskey" took Hattie to Finland in 2006 to perform as a finalist in the compo10.com blues contest.
