Sterling Heights – is a duo that consists of my younger brother Aaron (20) who stole all the rhythm in the family and decided to lay down his tap shoes, pick up some drum sticks, and really impress the ladies. And I am Benjamin; (22) the singer, guitarist, and song writer, a true hopeless romantic pouring out my heart one song at a time. We’ve been playing and writing music together since we were 16 and 18 and while I would never want to hear one of those early songs you could see from the get go we were trying something new, staying far from the over done emo-pop-punk sound that over whelmed radio, T.V and local music scene. So what has formed is a sound that is heavily influenced by 60’s pop rock, (Beatles, Beach Boys) 80’s new wave, (The Cure, Joy Division), and a touch of UK rock (U2, Travis).
